Sam has spent 20+ years as a Lawyer, dealmaker and private investor and is the Founder of SMWC Management, a boutique single family office management company.

Sam has provided significant legal and fiduciary services for family offices for a number of years.

Sam has managed over 25 entities, including LLCs, partnerships, trusts, and private foundations and has over 35% of his family offices overall assets in private investments (direct investments and limited partners interests)  Sam led investments into Nudge/The Whole Coffee Co., Pipe Technologies and GrubMarket.

Sam was formerly a VP at Gehrson Lehrman Group, Counsel of the 9/11 Commission and an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell.
